In Response to Your Questions
Posted by: Jacque Egnatic
I would like to answer some of the questions that have been submitted to us via our website.
1) Why did I get so many zip ties in my package?
Jeweler in the Dishwasher comes packaged with 6 zip ties because once the zip tie is clipped from the rack it can't be reused. So, extra zip ties are enclosed.
2) What is the brush for?
The brush is enclosed so that any remaining residue that may be left in the ring after the cleaning process can be easily brushed away.
3.) Is the zip tie strong enough to safely hold my Jeweler in the Dishwasher in place?
Yes. The zip tie is an 18 lb. tensile zip tie, and it can EASILY hold the Jeweler in the Dishwasher, it can also withstand the heat inside the dishwasher.
4) Is it safe to put silver inside the Jeweler in the Dishwasher?
Yes, you can place silver inside the unit, but remove the jewelry BEFORE the dry cycle begins and dry the jewelry with a soft cloth.
5) How often can I clean my jewelry?
It is safe to clean your jewelry every day if you want to, although it isn't necessary. I would suggest cleaning your jewelry once a week.
Although, upon first sight, Jeweler in the Dishwasher units may look like a cute toy, I would like to assure you that a lot of time was dedicated to designing our product, making sure that when the units are properly closed and attached to the top rack of the dishwasher, they will not pop open or become separated from the rack. Jeweler in the dishwasher units were constructed to hang from the top rack, and if you decide to place them in the silverware basket, be sure the unit stays in an upright position. If the directions that are enclosed with each unit are followed, the unit will function properly. Be sure to place only ONE ring at a time in the unit. Also, make sure that the unit does not come in contact with the sprayer arms or the detergent dispenser.
If you have any questions regarding your Jeweler in the Dishwasher cleaning unit, PLEASE feel free to contact us!
