I Survived Chicago!!
I just returned last week from my trip to Chicago where I was an exhibitor at the International Home + Housewares Show. I attended this event for the first time in 2009, and I learned a lot over the year, so I was looking forward to going back with all my new found knowledge.
I love going to the McCormick Place Convention Center, it's so big, and I think it's just really pretty inside. I had some meetings on the 5th floor, which looks out over Lake Michigan, even though it was rainy and a little foggy, it was still a really pretty view.
I met a lot of companies this year, as well as some that I had met last year. I introduced a new product that I will have on the market in the Fall of this year, and I was a bit nervous because I wasn't sure how it would be received. However, I was very happy with the initial reactions , and I'm looking forward to completing the remainder of the work in order get it on the market.
