Just to refresh your memory, I am a bench jeweler with almost 40 years of experience repairing, designing, and manufacturing fine jewelry. I have owned and operated my own small, retail jewelry store, for almost 15 years. I am the inventor of Jeweler in the Dishwasher; the safe, easy way, to clean fine jewelry with professional results.
Now, we will get into the reason for this post. Several times a year, I get customers in that have placed their jewelry in the little plastic jars that contain a jewelry cleaning solution. And, my customer's jewelry ends up having an adverse reaction to the chemicals in the jewelry cleaner. I am posting a picture of the latest mishap. These are a pair of 14k yellow gold diamond stud earrings. The chemical turned the metal a brownish color. If, she had used Jeweler in the Dishwasher, this would not have happened. Two positive things did result from this experience though. 1.) She got to buy new settings for her diamonds, 2.) I was able to sell a Jeweler in the Dishwasher!
Thanks for great information you write it very clean. I am very lucky to get this tips from you.
